Question Video link

Hi everyone

Just wondering what people are using by way of a video link these days - there was a thread back in 07 but things move on. I'm gonna see if I can get my member of parliament to put it on his expenses for me - sorry local joke!!

Well, I think you could get a lot more replies if you can tell us what kind of video link are you referring to.

Are you interested in...
* a simple CCTV situation so you can view the performance area when you're location recording?

* a three or five camera portable fly-pack video rig?

* a teleproduction truck for your next 12camera HD broadcast?

The possibilities are indeed endless.
Let us know what you're need to know about and we will provide you with the answers to the best of our abilities.

...Also, consider clicking on the "video" tag link at the top of this forum's main page.
This is a way to check out all the threads that have "moved on" in this forum.
You can also search any word(s) directly if you like.
There are quite a few threads about video and such.
Click on that link and you will win!

Thanks Steve and sorry to have been vague - yes it is the CCTV side of things I am interested in for sessions - just wondered whether robotic and or wireless were getting affordable now.

Canon, Panasonic and Sony make PTZ CCTV camera that were meant for teleconferencing.

You can find them on eBay anywhere from $50.00 to $200.00 USD.

There were originally priced at about $1000.00 to $1200.00 USD.

We have a bunch of them for each of the trucks and our portable rigs.

We also have a few Telemetrics PTZ/F controllers for them.
