Smile "One Case To Rule Them All."

So I've got my portable "studio C" built, which consists of:
MacBook Pro, Axiom 25, MBox Mini, External HD, Heaphones, AKG Mic and 4 cables. (LOOK MOM! No power outlet needed!)

Without the Axiom, I can fit it all into one laptop case, but it's 19" long and 3" thick and they don' really make laptop cases that big. I reckon there's some crafty people around these here parts- does anyone do custom cases or know of a case that might fit all this comfortably and securely?

Thanks.
Monaco

Very cool Monaco! How about side-by-side in an electric guitar case with foam cut to size? E.g.

Dude, I think I'll get one of these coffin cases, that might be cool.
Honestly, I suck at construction and would rather pay someone to make it.

You could always have a foam lined roadcase made.

^ those are nice! I don't know if they'll fit my axiom, though.

This one looks like my best choice:
M-AUDIO - Torq Xponent Gig Bag - Custom Carrying Case for Torq Xponent, Laptop and DJ Accessories

But OF COURSE it's the only model that doesn't have the
dimensions listed.

Portabrace made me a custom case.

It held my sound devices 722, Wendt X4, two eco-charge SLAs, Mytek Stereo 192, two Neumann u89s and cases, cables, and a pair of Schoeps CMC622S's and my Senn HD600s.

I checked that out a few times on M-Audio's website (link) but it says the dimensions are "12" (w) x 18" (h) x 8" (d)" and the axiom is 19"

Plus is says: "conveniently carries an M-Audio Ozone or Oxygen8" and says nothing about the axiom.

Otherwise, I would totally be all over that.

Can't say I recommend Thomann... Ordered from them 2 days ago and they're just now getting back to me with bad news:

Hi there,
I am sorry but we have a minimum order of €50 (outside of EU). Your order could therefore not be processed.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Best regards

What happened to the guitar case idea?

If it was feasible all you would have needed to do is open the case and plug in the cords...

Or, maybe not...

I'm not sure.

Any more ideas?

My current idea to beat is the SKB studio flyer... 15 pounds, 2 rack spaces with laptop attachment.

Or 24 pounds for the 4 space.
