Question Breaking a live recording down to seperate tracks

Hey guys! I'm working on my first live project. I have a 9 song performance in one large PT 8 session.

What would be the best way to split these into their own sessions? (i.e. where to make the cuts?)

You guys are awesome! thanks!

If these are the same band, same concert, same settings, then leave them in the same session since they'll need the same mix. Make local adjustments using track/clip automation.

If you really want to break it down, use "save as" 9 times, calling the resulting sessions "song 1" "song 2" etc etc. Then go through each and cut away everything that isn't in that song (in other words, chop off the stuff before and the stuff after). There's other ways of going about it but that way is risk free, more or less, as you start off with 9 full copies of the session.

i typically place markers between all the songs, and split across all tracks at the markers.

use "save as" to create individual session files without recopying all the audio files.

open the individual session files and delete the unnecessary regions. i just leave the files where they are, instead of moving them to the beginning of the session. then, when i go to bounce, i just locate the marker at the beginning of the song, hold "shift", then locate the beginning marker of the next song. now you can bounce the loop region.
