Question Studios in Bangkok?

Has anyone worked in Bangkok at a solid place with solid people?

there must be some

soundmark,

I lived in BK for 6 months recently and go there often but have never had the need for studio time. Damn, I wish I could help you out. Noticing the high quality sound/production of Thai pop music these days there music be some excellent studios in BK with engineers who know what they're doing. Keep searching and good luck.

I live in Bangkok and have my own studio.

My set up is:
PTHD3
Digidesign 192 IO
Big Ben Clock
Adams S3a's
Mix Dream SPL Summing
Cranesong Hedd 192
CL1B
API 2500
Fatso
Lexicon pcm96
GML 8200
Massive Passive
pair of Distressors
All the plugins

I also have a good friend here who has his own studio. He's Thai but worked at Sony in NY for years. He won a grammy for his work there.
He charges, I think about $290/track and apprx. $150/track for mastering.

Whats your needs in Bangkok?

Hi there

I have a friend who just built a substantial studio facility in Bangkok - I have asked him to send some details as I haven't been there and don't know much about it myself. The guy is ex classical director for Sony BMG so I have no doubt it will be classy.
