Hi Guys, Today I have been out recording at St Govans Head Chapel in South Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK It is probably one of the most well hidden ancient places of worship in the UK. The story goes that a Bishop from Ireland was fleeing some pirates around about the year 500 AD, close to certain death and hijack St Govan saw a cleft in the cliffs appear and decided to take cover and hide. He lived there for the rest of his life. It is fantastic scenery and since it was a nice day I decided to record some crashing waves and the reverb inside the small chapel. I did this Binaurally using a Sony Minidisc, a cheap binaural headset I bought from ebay a few years back and some Rycote Overcovers on the mic capsules. The Overcovers are great but the mics are a bit thin sounding, so I was wondering if any of you have put together a couple of laveliers or something to record with? The recordings came out quite well, just would like a bit more definition from the mics. I really want something I can wear without drawing too much attention to myself. I haven't much to spend just wondering if there is anything out there with a good price/quality ratio? Is anyone else (apart from Tchad Blake) doing these kinds of recordings, - what are you using? Cheers Iwan

I need them to be wearable in-ear like the Soundman OKM stuff, as far as I can see neither the Naiant or Giant Squid will let me do that.
