beautiful echo chamber and a closeup of what we used. I was a bit concern about the converters but the Hd system with the lynx aurora16 was not so easy to move from my studio. Also lynx is db25, and I didnt have anymore db25-xlr cables, so it woudnt be that easy. Also the Rmes octamic digitalout dont go along with the aes ebu on the lynx. It seems I need to get some kind of adapter. well, in the end I think it sounded great and although it could have ended up sounding even better, it didnt compromise the songs in anyway...

heres a couple of the close micing photos. Sorry for the not so focused ones...

1- the reslo on an extra guitar amp we placed at the back,

2-my white 421s on the amp n1 and

3-vintage grundig stereo mics. i love this mics. They really stood up to it in the middle of the fuss. They dont have much bass, but sometimes they are just the right thing for the job. They werent showing much of the other instruments and I could hear all the essential snap of the percursions. In the photo it is not set yet. they open along the axis and you can get them to do many stereo configurations!

I forgot to mention, this is was supposed to sound 70s ish. I think the average age of the mics used was around 30 years! Some from the 50´s!
It is sounding 70sish, I think I acomplished that a bit too well, now I have to modern it a bit. I guess thats easier

drums ( 414 Ovh, m88 Kick, oktavamk12 snare/hh ). we got more plexi on the sides afterwards... hammond with r84 (sorry for the poor photo. we also had the leslie miced up, both sides!) hearback system. Not the best sounding but very effective, 10 guys playing at the same time...

We are waiting to hear some samples! We don't need whole songs, the band shouldn't mind...

Brilliant!! Was this duct already there or did you make it for a reverb chamber?
Thanks for the great pics and I hope to hear the recordings too.

thanks for the kind words. I ve been the last 2 days back there to track a couple overdubs that werent possible at the time. Fender rhodes, wurlitzer piano, upright piano, sax, flute. I talked with the guys and they say its already to show you a bit. So tomorrow I will try to make a couple of quick bounces to post. I will try to get a good exemple on that crazy reverb we got. untitled: "TunelVerb!" . It was from an already existent structure. Just taped an oktavamk12 there. You can see it in the picture above.

Thanks again.
