| Lives for gear |
I figure the remote forum cats are mostly pros and might be able to steer me toward a good tech. I've got an old EV mic that need a cable made. It has an old-style 4-pin connector on the mic, so I need an XLR to 4-pin cable. Also, I've got two Oktava LDC tube mics that I bought at "Banjo Centre". The sound good, like a poor man's U67 but they have bad XLR outs that buzz unless you fool with the cable and don't touch (or look) at the power supply. There may also be a bit of noise that a tech could clean up. I'm in Westchester NY about a 1/2 hour from Manhattan.
