FIrst off let me say a huge thank you to all of you that take the time to post and give feedback. I have been doing remote recording for about 8 years now, and I wish I would have found this website a long time ago. I am a musician by trade (sax and piano) and I got into doing remote recording while I was in college and I had left over money from my scholarships and so I bought an ADAT and a mackie mixer along with a few (bad) mics and the rest is history. I have since upgraded my studio and now currently have a mobile protools rig with a couple of nice outboard converters and pres, along with my trusty mackie 1604vlz. (The pres eh, but the routing for the size can't be beat in its price range) I am a hobbyist as I still have to work a day job to keep the lights on, but I aspire to get enough work to do it full time, thus I am here to hopefully gain some knowledge from all of you! On to this current project, I did live FOH sound and recorded the live performance, it was a night of Sondheim. It was in a small club here in Las Vegas, and I multitracked it live and mixed it back in my studio. I would love to get some feedback from anyone that would like to take the time to listen. I can list mics and stuff later, but I would like to do that after you've listened to it! It's some of the better musicians and singers in town so the performances are pretty good, Clint Holmes is singing Send in the Clowns. These are only three of the tracks from the show. Please don't spare my feelings, and thanks again to anyone that takes the time to listen and give some feeback! Free File Hosting Made Simple - MediaFire Robby |

Good job Robby! I only listened to two of the files. Perhaps the vocal is a bit to up front, but all in all it sounds very nice.
