I know QT Pro isn't necessarily the preferred choice for recording audio. For simplicity, I intend to use it for recording a seminar, some parts of which will be webcast with QT Broadcaster. My questions are just about audio recording with QT Pro. 1) With the limited input metering provided, how far into the red is safe? 2) Are there any metering options - like a peak-hold? 3) Can the metering scale (granularity) be changed at all? 4) Other than "don't use it", does anyone have any tips for using it this way? Thanks, John |

I don't have any definitive answers, but I would guess that it is a digital meter. In this case you never want to see red. On many programs if you right click the meter it will bring up options. Try that while you wait for someone with actual experience to chime in.
