Hi, I am looking for an impulse response of a concert hall with a click as excitation. Moreover sender (loudspeaker) and receiver (microphone) have to be at the same position. Does anyone know where I can get this? Thanks. Michael |

You're going to be quite hard pressed to find this; nobody doing professional level/research grade work really uses clicks in this day and age. The signal to noise ratio is suboptimal in a system as large as a hall. Is there a particular reason that you need this specific excitation signal?

Hi BLP, thanks for your quick reply. You are totally right, it is nonsense to use a click, so there is no specific reason. To put things right: Do you know where I can find an impulse response of a concert hall excited with a sweep, but with the microphone and loudspeaker being at the same position? Cheers, Michael |

I could make some for you - but I am interested why you might want this? Larry |

That's nice, but you probably would generate it with a program. I would like to have a authentically recorded file, in other words a record of a real concert hall. I am doing a biology project in which I wanna use this. Michael | |
