I need compact and powerful loudspeakers to project spoken voice at a trade show floor (around 1000 by 1000 feet). Any recommendations?

M-Audio BX8's... I have the BX5's and they can get pretty loud. But for 1000 X 1000, the BX8's should be just fine... Just a suggestion....thumbsup

1,000,000 square feet? Please don't take this the wrong way, but... Hire a professional.

I have a Yamaha Stagepas system (the 300) and I'm really impressed. I wouldn't recommend it for cranking music with a ton of bass, but I use it for vocals during practice/gigs and is loud and clear.

If it's a trade show area, it's possible that they have a tannoy system already installed for public safety announcements. If it is more than this you need I would recommend hiring a pro audio sound reinforcement company, this is a big area to cover and would need multiple speakers in multiple locations to cover. Depending on how busy the show is they can be noisy environments. Regards Roland |
