Talking Oscars sound

why is it that whenever the presenter makes the announcement and the music comes in it sounds like crap? it's like there is a hard limiter on the master that gets engaged.

Honestly autotune should be illegal.

And at least three times people stopped talking during their presentation because the background music was so loud.
