Does anyone know when Pink Floyd is supposed to take the stage?

On the slut tip...who wouldn't love to have this gig? Do the bands provide their own FOH and monitor people?

Just saw a clip from Rome with DuranDuran
Simon Le Bon looked as if he either was on pills
or attending a funeral.

Berlin concert has a cool vibe with that long and narrow crowd.
Is that Unter der Linden?

Hyde Park? What can you say- massive..
But no alcohol served? You get a grumpy crowd after a few hours..

I kinda think the best sound comes from the rome concert, the Hyde Park concert sounds very muddy and dark, have yet to hear a cymbal.

Guess he's mixing on Genelecs or something.

Looks fun though.

Destiny's Child

Great performance , sound and cool band. I'm kinda surprised to find myself saying that. But credit where it's due.

I was shortly in the berlin concert (it is unter den linden ruudman), good vibes but prety bad sound though and a long line up of boring german bands...

Kind of hard to watch Brian Wilson forget the words to God Only Knows...quick recovery...but still painful to watch a genius stumble.

....some acts seem to have a better in ear experience than others

highlights so far:

BEP ...never saw them before....oh my!!!

Joss Stone's drummer, ditto

Bruce Cockburn....he's been on the case since the late 80's, hat's off!

enjoy the good stuff, and don't forget to sign the petition on line

shakira ??

i have never heard her before.
i hope her band, engineers , ...all the staff...
are paid enormously well.....
she seems to me to be
among the worst conceivable musical
events i can even begin to imagine...
why is this happening??

thanks for reading,

I can vouch for the fact that she has an excellent band and she treats them very well. I know two of the guys and they've had the gig for almost ten years now.

On Richard and Judy on Friday evening Chris Evans was talking about the guy 'Rob' in charge of sound, his team are providing sound for the entire world's coverage of the London show.

He hadn't slept for three days apparently, he was bricking it.

Anyone know who this 'Rob' is and if so, see if you can get some behind the scenes knowledge of the rigs and setup?

Cheers,
Rich

She is very cool to work with. And she tried to help me out with my working papers in the U.S. I will never forget that.... So don't talk bad about her : )

Plus, Tim her guitarist is a good friend and super talented player and producer.

Listen to her newest album coming up in november I think you guys will be surprised. I bought the spanish speaking version that came out a few weeks ago and it's very very very good. Top notch people involved. A huge step above anything she did in the past.

MTV is cancer, for the love of God make it stop.

Damn!!!!
I only catched the last two minutes of Pink Floyd
What music ... and this Gilmore guys especially ... no words for that

Only scary to see how these people from Floyd over The Who and even Sting have become grands.
Time ...

In a couple of years no Geldorf can organize anything near that. Neither with that impact nor quality. There will always be great musicians and from time to times nice pieces, just not close to the stuff from the ol´chums.
Not nice to mention, but that´s pretty clearly how it seems.

Just to say how me really appreciates the event as some of the very last.

Ruphus

Oh McCartney, gotta go ...!

Shakira = HOT ASS VIDEO!

Any of you guys old enough to remember Gilligan's Island on TV?
They made a special pair of jeans to cover up Mary Ann's navel for the censors.
We have come a long way since then.
