Talking Nosecone on DPA 4003

This is a very close to the organ test, only to find out how good the nosecone on my DPA 4003 works close to the pipes.
This nosecone is made to make DPA 4003 perfect omni on all frequency. It's a little annoying to here his feet tapping the
pedal so loud, but this is only a test.

What is your opinion on this kind of recordings.

Aren't good mics just a pain in the butt?! Nice recording. Can you get the organist to work in his socks? His feet are a distraction. You have made me want to try some work with the nosecones on my 4006 TL's now.

I pretty much only play in socks. Then again, my arches are like the Arc de Triomphe. Not all feet can go shoeless on all pieces.

Nosecones is good at this kind of recordings, you get a little room, though it is so close to the instrument.
