The press are calling this The Grammy's You Shouldn't Ignore, which I find amusing.

They say Radiohead will be playing, which is kind of shocking.

oh man...I try not to post anything negative on here, but this Taylor Swift/Miley Cyrus performance sounds like karoake night at the local tavern. They're really not very gifted as singers are they?

I have to agree, 100 percent. I mean, Taylor Swift is by far the worst of the two. She could barely carry a tune for more than 5 seconds.

Wow, Stevie with the Jonas Brothers was unexpected. Is their a really bad effect on the boy's voices or is that just what being 16 sounds like? He needs to sing into the frickin' microphone.

Question to older members (I'm 22): Did you ever used to sit and watch the Grammy's and think "man, these performers aren't very talented"?

Still, I'd love to be in their position right now...

I was about to start a thread to ask who the girl playing the lead guitar was with Carrie Underwood but I see several people beat me to it. Whoever knows, please post who she is.

Ugh- I feel like there used to be a time when the Grammy's were something special- loved the zing from mark hoppus on the jonas brothers and stevie wonder - and yes their were a couple of moments that were worth watching but they were few and far between; Paul & dave grohl, and the earlier set of kanye west really, and funny how he thew in his shot at "somehow not recieving best new artist."Sent a Nice Big fuuck, made me laugh.

the writing was pretty dry for the show overall, and the Kick on almost all of the rap/ r&b performances just sounded soooo ProTools I was turned off.

anyway,

cheers to those who celebrated and won

At least Taylor Swift writes her own songs, and plays her own guitar. I got the impression Miley was at kind of a loss up there, not being able to strut around and distract from her god-awful singing voice.

That was worth the wait!
