Schoeps colette hire stock

Hi friends

I have a film music orchestral recording coming up in the UAE region and need to hire a large quantity of Schoeps CCM stuff mainly cos its way easier to ship with the extension tubes etc than lots of big heavy stands. Does anybody know where the closest supplier might be? I can get them out of Studiohire London but I wondered if someone has a set closer.

Just one word of caution. The Schoeps extension tubes will only go to a certain height. They are made to pick up vocal soloists and are not suitable for "in orchestra" spot micing. At least they are not suitable to the degree one might think because their max. height is too low.

You can extend the stand tubes until about 2 meters an then take the longest tube with capsule is 1,2 m. So you can reach a maximum height of about 3,2 m. Should be enough.
