Nagra UK dealers are not allowed to ship the Nagra VI outside of the UK. You need to go and pick one up if you want it from the UK. Best, Phil. |

Hi 11miles, The UK contact for Nagra is:- Nagra Kudelski GB 3U Long Spring Porters Wood St. Albans Herts. AL3 6EN Tel: 00-44-1727-81-00-02 E-mail: john.rudling(at)nagra.com They can sell to you in person, but not ship abroad. If you ring, talk to Ken Fooks or John Rudling - both are very helpful. By the way, I don't understand your comment in your first post: Quote:
I have always had absolutely superb support from Nagra - it's one of the reasons for buying a Nagra, because the back-up is so good (even after many years with older machines, it's still excellent). Mystified about this comment. ??? Cheers, I hope this helps.

I have always found Nagra support to be top notch, and despite my time difference, usually get a response via email, my preferred method of contact, within 6 hours it seems.

Or you can try to get in touch with John Owens at the head office in Switzerland. He'll be able to help you with your requests for sure. E-mail: john.owens(at)nagra.com Best, Phil. | |

| Agreed - actually John Owens was in the UK yesterday and I spoke to all three people at Nagra GB before posting my above answer.

What's the street price on the Nagra VI? I have a friend in location sound work for TV who was interested in possibly replacing his SQN as more often now he gets requests for bwf's to be recorded seperate as well as with the umbilical to the camera. Regards Roland |
