Hi all, I reported earlier that I was going to work in a mexican truck with a sony r100 (mixing sir e john ),but it turns out it will be a pm1d, the sony is an extra submixer.. I can only find manuals for software updates on the web (saying; 'this and that is new', 'you can now this or that').. But I really need a manual that starts from the beginning, if you follow what I'm saying not very eloquently.. If someone here has a user manual or a link to one, I would reaaaaaally appreciate it! Also: is an analog insert on the master easily achievable on one? Thanks! huub |

Hi Huub, you need the cs1d manual + the manual for the rack. Both are on the Yamaha Commercial Homepage in various languages. Regards

Tip if you're a recording guy - the direct outs cannot be switched on globally - you have to go through every channel and do it. Or at least that is what I recall happening last time I used a PM5D but I am sure someone will chime in if that is incorrect. I think there is some importance attached to the studio manager software being that same as that which is on the desk, so if it is a hire desk, check what version it is as you might find you set up your whole session on a lapdog only to find the desk can't read it without an update which can be stressful against the clock.
