Talking HS big band--mic deployment

I'm going to record the big band at my son's high school tomorrow, and I'm trying to strategize about how to use the available mics.

Here's what's available:

U195
Earthworks QTC1 (x2)
AT 4047
AT 4051 (x2)
AT 4040 (x2)
Shure KSM27 (x2)
EV 468 (x2)
Beyer M260
Shure SM57 (x6)

The personnel is 6 trumpets, 4 trombones, 5 saxes, drums/bass/piano/guitar. The recording will be in the band room, which adds nothing acoustically though it's not a train wreck. But because the room doesn't sound great, I'm thinking of leaving the QTC1s at home.

Here was my thought about how to set up:

4051s as main pair in ORTF
KSM27s on piano
4047 on kick, M260 as mono OH
DI bass (it's an upright with a pickup)
SM57 on guitar amp
section mics: 4040's on trumpets and saxes, U195 on trombones
468s as solo mics

Any thoughts about this? Suggestions for other deployments?

No need to forgo omnis just because the room is poor. Use them as spots. Try one just in front of the drummers head. Maybe one in front of the bass cab. Just don't write 'em off.

I'll be recording a jazz band in February. I plan on doing it similarly to this:

use the qtc's in an NOS pattern.
I have had great results doing this with big bands.
