Exclamation Steve Remote - Can you help me with an Otari Status Problem?

Steve or anyone else that can help,

My engineer and I spent weeks rebuilding a 32 X 24 Otari Status 18R, no patch bay.
We re-capped and changed the op-amps and the thing sounded Great. Key word here, Sounded.
We realized that my boot data, received via email from an X Status user, was recognizing only 24 of our 32 inputs. In an attempt to Change and save this set-up to the floppy, my engineer, after not finding an easy solution, became a bit hyper and started punching many buttons/menus/options. That's when audio stopped coming out of the Stereo Master buss.
A few other things don't seem right either.
I need someone who knows this semi complex board to tell me what goofy thing went wrong or what stupid little thing I might be over-looking.
There's a Cajun Meal in it for anyone who can help.
Thanks,

Bob

Steve Remote - Can you help me with an Otari Status Problem?

Steve,

I'm still dead in the water after, now weeks, of trying everything.

My Engineer and I spent weeks rebuilding an Otari 18R Status Console - 32 X 24. Re-capped, new Op-amps, SOUNDED GREAT. Key word, Sounded.
My boot-up disk would only recognize 24 channels in So my engineer trying pushing most every button on the console to find the answer and allow it to recognize 32.

Result, the master section will not pass audio. Audio in, Meters move, no audio out on Stereo Bus.

Please tell me of that little know fact, or that stupid thing I'm overlooking.

Thanks, Newby,
