Question Live Vocal Effects

I'm looking for a single-rack multi-effects unit to use on my voice live. I'm NOT interested in harmonizing or pitch correction, which are what all the dedicated vocal units like the VoiceWorksPlus seem to get raves for (ok, they can harmonize... how does the reverb sound??). If it comes with all that, fine, but I get the impression with these new units that those features are what you're really paying for.

Also, I would like to be able to trigger it with a MIDI sequencer (I'm playing to a click most of the time anyway), and to have the option to use a foot controller.

Price range: around $1,000.00

Any suggestions?

Thanks!!
-Dan

What about the SPX2000? I could use it in the studio as well.

I've used the dbx Pro Vocal... sounds great,
has midi.

Just found out they've been discontinued... used
on ebay for $149.

Thanks for the tip. That looks pretty good, but I think I've settled on the TC Electronics M-One XL.

You can use the M-One XL does a lot of stuff.
Kinda' tweaky, but they are decent sounding.

a seasoned sound mixer hint: just use a simple slap at 120 or 242 msec.

Use a New SM58, lightly compressed by about 3 db @ 4:1, low end hi-passed, flat otherwise.
Works every time
