We use a Yamaha M7 digital board. We haven't purchased better outboard preamps because of money and because we've been trying to decide on the limitations of recall. We do four worship services per week and the recall is key. I've got $4-5K to spend. The Audient ASP008 looks smart. We've got Audient console in our studio. My question is if there are other similar pieces that I should consider in this same price range? Are there other more flexible pieces that would work better with a digital board to maintain recall? |

The Yamaha AD8HR pres are a big step up from the M7 and both can have headamp control from the M7. You would have your recall on a scene basis... --Ben |
