Question minimal Jazz recording article help.

I'm looking for an article/interview about minimal jazz recording. i believe it was on discmakers website. It was about using really expensive handmade microphones and recording a jazz combo directly to adat using minimal recording techniques. I believe the album/concept is closely related to the Chesky record label. I want to say the engineer is swedish or finnish but I'm not sure. THANK YOU.

Speaking of minimal jazz recordings, try and get your mitts on this:

Buddy Tate I Giganti Del Jazz #13 Italy LP RECORD (403164)

This is probably the best jazz recording I've ever heard in my life. Yes, and that includes all the great Blue Note recordings etc. Milton Buckner plays the greatest hammond solo ever committed to tape on "When I'm Blue". A totally obscure gem.
