I am looking for a media player that has the ability to record digital stereo (or better still multi-channel) audio, so that I can use my own mics, pres and converters. Am I right in thinking that there is no iPod Touch accessory that enables this feature? The M-Audio MicroTrack II is an option, but I would prefer an all round media player that can do other things, such as internet etc. The Samsung Q2 UMPC looks like it might be quite good, but its not out yet and it is quite big. Are there any others out there? Cheers. |

"Sonoma Wire Works's FourTrack ($9.99, iPhone and 2G iPod Touch only) is a multitrack audio recorder with four tracks (record one while listening to the others), unlimited length, 16-bit/44.1KHz quality, calibrated meters, fade and pan, clipping lights, time line display, shuttle, Wi-Fi sync, and more" Probably just a toy... |
