Hey guys, our band is looking for a new soluition to get stereo-background music to the PA. Until now we're using an iPod an split the sereo signal into two mono signals with sequencer software like cubase. one signal hard panned left and one hard panned right. the one signal is the click for the drummer and the other the background music, samples, strings.... as you now mono strings are really bad. We're looking for a cheap solution that can bring the background music to the front in stereo and a click to the drummer too.... Yesterday I saw a band using an AKAI DR4, and I thought is could be a great posibility. But I have no idea how this will be connected to the computer and how to set up the single files...? Can somebody explain? Or has someone other, better solutions? The only thing we don't want to use i a laptop or computer.... thanks for any ideas |

Headroom Airhead or Bithead. Just one of the headphone preamps available. Takes your single stereo signal and gives you two potentially stronger signals. And various other options. Depending on quality, budget, and needs.
