Question Multipin to GUITAR RIG???

All-

I want to hook up my guitar rack to my floor board. I have been thinking about using Ramtech's CPC. But, would it be sacrilegious to use such a thing for unbalanced audio!!? tutt

I mean, it can't be that bad right???

Here is the breakdown of what I want to do.

Guitar into Whirlwind A/B Box on floor
Split A goes to rackmount korg tuner in rack
Split B goes to Alesis 3630 comp channel A in rack
Back to floor into
Boss NS-10 Noise suppressor
NS-10 Loop into
Ibanez Thrash Metal
To Ibanez TS 808
To DOD Death Metal
To Boss BC-1 Bass Chorus
NS-10 Loop returns
NS-10 to rack
Mesa Studio Pre in rack
To Alesis 3630 comp Channel B in rack
FX Mono out to floor
To Boss Digital Stereo Delay
Back to rack into stereo
Yamaha SPX990 in Rack stereo
Return into FX Loop Stereo
Mesa Output A and B
To Ashley stereo 15 band Graphic EQ
Leaves Rack to go to
Randall Solid State Heads

Each head driving two Randall 4x12s

I'm not a guitar tech, I'm a audio tech? But in my mind a good multi-core and CPCs should do the trick.

Your thoughts

Pedalsnake?

I'm not really sure what the CPC does, because I couldn't get the video to play. I've been wanting one of these for my pedalboard / rack system for my acoustic rig.

For what it's worth, that Pedal Snake G2 system sounds like the perfect solution to for your situation.

I never used it, but I liked what I saw in the video clip that was provided at PedalSnake.com.

Building your own system would also work, especially if it's done to exacting standards.
With that said, I feel the Ramtech CPC connector is way too large and expensive for what you want to do.

What do you think about that Pedal Snake set-up?

well, that pedal snake video was interesting. I enjoyed the 2 naked cheerleaders in the end...

I think the pedal snake is a good idea, but I can't see it working right for my needs though. I did like the power for the pedals, that pretty fun.

but I am going to need at least 7 unbalanced and 4 balanced for my rig.

CPCs are expensive? I am gonna call them for prices monday, I would have them make up a 2 fans and a trunk. One fan with on panel mount, no connectors.

I would also contact Pedal Snake's custom shop about making a snake that fits your needs, then price it out with your original supplier.
