Thread Starter | How should I record a 30 piece choir?
Does anyone have any experience in recording a choir? I'm gonna record a 30 piece choir with a band of drums (I guess/hope the drummer will be using brushes), an upright bass, an acoustic guitar, accordion and a piano. I've rented some gear for this. Eight Octava condesators (they were cheaper than AKG 414's), a mixing desk and a stereo compressor. I'll use my DAT player to record it. What are your opinions on how I should place the mics? Thanks in advance! |
