Question 4060 by DPA

im very curious for this mic. you can buy them in europe for 300€.

and they say they got a very natural sound.

ITS DEFENTLY only for recording

can i use this mic for acoustic instruments? like double bass, violin, acoustic guitar?

jazz? folk?

i know the quality is very good, and the price here is accepeble.

is it a good idea to buy this?

Yes, Yes, Yes and yes..

It's an omni though, so not good for every situation..
You will hear the room , unless you mic very close.
It's actually a really really nice mic for toms (the high spl version, 4061 I believe)
