Not enough information to answer that question properly. Tell us more about what you plan to do with your remote van. What kind of projects do you want to tackle? And, anything else you can add to give us a better idea of what you want to accomplish.

The main goal for this van is to be able to record at least 32 channels of audio clean and nice. It might be interesting to acctualy beeing able to mix the final product in the van. For direct broadcast for stereo. Would be nice with 5.1 but that will have to come later. I was thinking to start of small and then expand if I can find more work. I have had contact with radiostations that need help with doing on location recordings. So what I was thinking technicly is this. The van - Ford Transit 18 foot long Mixer tascam M3500 or Mackie 32 8 bus. (Could go for digital and use external micpres) Alesis Hd24 recorder x2 Mac G5 with Motu 2408 RME converter 8 ch x3 16 ch passiv transformerbased split. x 2 16 ch multicable x 2 TC-electronics M6000 Lexicon LXP-15 DBX 160 x4 Comp (of somekind) x8 Gates (of somekind) X4 TC-triple C Patchbay Mic patch Focal solo be x2 Canon videocam for picture to the van. UPS 1200va x2 Portable Aircond. Some of this equpiment is already in house since I have just moved from two studios and now have one. I'm looking to by a console of some kind, recorders and the multicable system. What do you think?? ![]() All the best Fredrik |
