Question Live Mixing Desk

Hi Everyone,
I'm posting here coz you guys seem to know what your talking about.
I need reccomendations for a good budget mixing desk which will be used primarily for live gigging. My max price is around £100-150
It will require a minimum 6 mic inputs (the mics are all radio) it needs to be stereo out (&in) and onboard FX would be useful, well at least a decent reverb.

I briefly looked at the Behringers because they fit my price range, but seeing your reviews have decided to take your advice.

The rest of the rig is a Crest pro audio 4801 amp, running 2 x EV SX300 and one EV SB 122.

Hope you can help

Many thanks

The Behringers are not the worst things on earth and they will work live.

We use quite a few in small break out rooms where they get abused.
They also tend to get stolen by hotel staff!
A $59.00 Behringer actually does the job as well as a $250.00 Spirit, but we are talking about a podium mic and music playback.
It is better to have a $59.00 unit stolen than a $250.00 unit!

Still, if you budget is that low then a Behringer wil work fine.
The big problem with Behringers is quality and life span.
They are truly throw-away equipment.
There is no factory or warrantee repair of Behringer equipment.
Behringer just compensates the retailer for new piece and throws away the defective unit.

They work well enough for low budget p.a. work.

Thanks Danny,
I was a bit concerned with the reliability, I don't want something that's going to flake out after a year or so, although I can usually fix most electronic boards, it's a pain to know that I'm probably going to have to, and I know from experience that the mic preamps are fairly pathetic.

Cheers
