5K to record live shows

I'm looking to purchase some equipment to record some live folk shows.
I don't think that I will need more that 8 ins.
I would like to go with a PC so that will eliminate a few audio interfaces.
What would you chose.

RME Fireface 800
TC Electronic Studio Konnekt 48
Digidesign 003
Prism Orpheus(This would probably blow my budget if this the best solution please tell me why.)
Or any other that you might see fit.

Personally I would go with a recorder instead of a daw.
A 24ch digital recorder or something that's simple and stable.

I don't really like the Alesses HD24, what else would you suggest.

Seriously I don't know much about them, I know a radar would be good but it's probably too expansive.

Mackie Onyx 1620 + firewire card = done.

You can use the DB25 outputs to feed the house mixer if needed (or use it as a mixer itself), and the conversion and preamps are very good.
