Talking virtual barbershop - incredible!

Surprised this has not come up here before. Those who have not already HAVE GOT TO LISTEN TO THIS! While you are at it, also listen to the matchbox rattle.

How was it done?... Mr. Fritz or something more esoteric?

BTW, I'm trying to draw your attention to audio illusions no. 5 and 6. You are required to wear headphones and close your eyes to hear the most incredible and natural surround sounding effect i have heard from a pair of cans. The guitar sounds unbelievably real!

regards,

The sample is a little deceptive because the sample on the left side is more bass heavy than the sample on the right. Just compare the bottom notes on both sides and you'll probably hear a difference. Hopefully my ears aren't messed up...

Also, the left side starts low first. Just like piano.

I'd be much happier if they did a better test. With the exact same timbres and processing on BOTH sides.

EDIT: I was talking about the top "illusion". I just realized there is a whole page of stuff...

I believe it was probably done with a binaural head. Definitely fun to listen to.

Oh yeah, and don't forget to listen on headphones for the full effect!
