How to record an ambient of location ?

Question How to record an ambient of location ?

I have music piece for violins, I want to add Room Mic Ambient Sound to them.. How i do record the ambient of Room Mics ? How to get the reverb of the room and save it as preset

Just mix the close mic and the room mic to taste with the volume faders.

Thanks for your reply, Im just trying to figure out the procedure..

But incase if i dont have room mics,,,.How i do record the ambient of the room ?

I think where the hangup might be is this ambient word. You could use reverb to add ambience if you have only one mic - or put the mic farther away from the sound source, and deeper into the room.
