Talking Martin D35 through M150's

Just bought a pair of magnificent M150's and tried them on my old Martin D35. Sorry for lumpy playing, don't practice much anymore.
These are the best mics I have ever heard or used. Will be used for serious classical work, but in the meantime the D35 sounds rich and deep.

Wonderful - I wish I had the money for this

As an alternative has anyone tried MKH8020 with sphere-balls?

Best,
Mads

Mads - you are in copenhagen, there are 5 M150s rental mics in town, as well as a host of other top classical mics like MKH800, Schoeps, DPA.

Give me a call sometime!

Thanks for letting me know.

I have DPA 4006 with APE's among other fine microphones. What I wanted to know was specifically how the 8020 with sphere-balls compared to M50/M150, if someone knew..!?
