OMG, the coolest job on the planet ever? Talk about intrigue...

Someone asked me the other day, if I could record any one band, who would it be? Great question. Let's just say that if your "coolest job on the planet" is the same as any of my hypothetical candidates for the title, I'm very jealous indeed. And pleased for you of course.

I'd need a time machine to do some of the "coolest jobs ever" though.

Hmm, well okay, it might not be the coolest job on the planet ever then..
Mixing primus or incubus or brian wilson or working with brendan o'brien would be that...
But, anyway, it'll be a pretty frking awesome job

You might want to check Audio Electronics Mattijsen: Audio Electronics Mattijsen
They are specialist in intercom systems, wired and wireless and usually provides the intercom systems for the large concerts in Holland.
I know this because a friend of mine is specialized in intercom systems and they hire him for the bigger events where there is need for wireless intercom systems.

Yeah , I know, thanks, we do marco borsato with em, I think we'll do the symphony in rosso with lionel richie too with em. They do wireless and asl though, no wired matrixes..
But I think we're all set for intercom..

cheers!

Welll... We quoted for a fly away pack, but did not get the job...
Howeverrrr.... I was asked to be soundsupervisor for the job, so if all goes well with obtaining a visum, I'll be off to nigeria next week to mix the 1st ever Mtv Afrika music awards..

I'll make pics and a little gig report..
