I know that these 'shred' videos have been up before, but this one tops them all IMO. Whoever did this is a genius! (And so is Paco De Lucia in his non-shredding true self!)

His tone is amazing. What kind of mic pre was used on the bongos?

I do admire Paco but thats just crap. flamenco players always got the crappiest crap tone. if you want good guitar tone listen to Aniello Desiderio or Zoran Dukic. or me. ![]() anyways, Paco is the coolest guitarist on earth. |

| well after watching it now because of your comment I have to say obviously my bad... I just pressed on play and scrolled down to read the comments so didn't really get what was going on. I've heard Paco live several times and though he's one of the greatest flamenco players he happens to play a lot of shit once in a while. that's why I was not surprised enough to check if its a fake... I still want to write that its not funny but I actually caught myself grinning while watching the snippet now... |

| Lives for gear | Dude. A bunch of my pro musician friends asked if Clapton was having a gear malfunction when I sent them the Clapton Shreds video. I was too embarrassed to tell then they are daft and that it is a joke. Apparently if you aren't prepared for a joke, you don't see it. I don't know.

| Yes actually. I posted most of the shred videos here on gearsluts almost a year ago and a few people thought it was real.... Crazy huh?

![]() But it certainly speaks for the awesomeness of the dubbing shredder, actually that's why I posted it. Check this 'SRV' thing, it might follow the same scheme as all the other 'shred' videos but the 'SOTW' quote done Texas-style in the beginning is pure genius! Disclaimer: This is NOT Stevie Ray playing in the following clip! ![]() | |

Forget about the preamp used on the bongos, I really want to know what kind of AC cable was used to power the preamp for the bongos. The clarity blows my mind. I can hear a slight bump at 362k, maybe about .2 db, but there is always a compromise somewhere. |

hi guys, i love this sort of thing. actually, the guy/s that ARE "playing" on these clips must have some skills, and an understanding of how to sync it up to the original video. some ppl just won't "get it". like all comedy, it does take skill and intellect to lampoon like this. DR9. |
