Question Good & Reasonable Price Graphic Eq's?

Hey All,
I need to get a few graphics for my monitor setup.
Anyone have good results with reasonable priced units? (ART,Peavey,DBX,etc)

or should i spend extra?

Thanks for any advice

lowest priced units on the general market that are decent are dbx 1231 dont be fooled into buying the cheaper 2 series or any cheaper brand as they just arnt worth it. if the price difference is small and you have the cash i would go for the 2231.

They're not cheap, but we've used our Klark Teknik DN360s for 15 years with no failures.

I would take a serious look at those great units.

The DBX 2231 is probably the cheapest useable graphic. Cheaper units than that are better run in bypass.

Thanks for the info! I have a Klark DN360 that needs to be repaired (cleaned), i'll fix my Klark and look into a DBX for the 2nd one...... i only need 4 ch. (famous last words)

I've always loved the DN360.....a gentle & effective graphic. it was my old large monitor eq's when we used to have giant playback speakers in the control room.

Most graphic's seem to take too many adjacent frequencies with them when you cut...... and that's just plain rude!

why dont you take a look at the KT square one

then again if you want a more precise constant-Q design try a BSS opal
