I don't think you can put Lennon and McCartney in competition with each other. What they accomplished together had as much impact on the the music that followed as Miles, Bird or Satchmo did in their time. Same with Ray Charles and maybe punk too. chap |

The Grammy's were an improvement up to that point. That version of "Across the Universe" rivaled Janice's wardrobe malfunction. Bad mix, uncertain performances and a real embarrassment. I wonder who did the mex? chap |
