Hey folks I recently recorded a big-ish show for an astonishing Queen tribute act. Just setting about mixing it, and decided it would be useful to have a reference. So rushed out and bought Queen Rock Montreal on DVD (and on Blu-Ray... I just need to get a player!). I know it was one of us lot that recorded this show. I can't find the thread about it, but can I just say how amazing that recording sounds? Twenty-seven years old, yet it sounds (and looks) like it was recorded last week. Fantastic job. Has set the bar pretty high for me. The show we recorded and filmed is due to be shown on PBS in the US later this year I believe. I'll keep you all posted. I don't think I've ever heard anyone with a voice so close to Freddie's. It's chilling. Paul |
