Talking Sylvia McNair sings Cole Porter...

From a concert in May that I recorded. Sylvia is well known for her Opera and Oratorio performances, but is trying her hand at the American classics. Pretty well done, I think! All of my usual equipment is in play (DPA, Cranesong, Forssell, etc.)with the addition of an EV N/D series mic on the kick and a Senheiser Evolution RF on her (blah!). The EV is a really nice kick mic!

This might be the last concert of this kind that I record in Orlando because of budget problems with the orchestra. I present it to you, my peers, because I know you'll at least appreciate what we all do. I can't make a living doing this anymore. I wish I was kidding.
