Thread Starter | Need some advise on my traveling recording rig....
OK.... This is the deal. I need 10 channels of pre (2 for backup) and 8 channels of A/D. Its one of these two setups. Give me some advise. Setup 1: 2 Millenia STT1 with Tele (vox, 2 buss EQ and maybe comp) 2 ISA 428 with AD Setup 2 1 Millenia STT1 1 ISA 428 2 Joe Meek VC1Q 1 Universal Audio 2108 1 Panasonic Ramsa WZ96 (this is a limited budget, both weigh out to be about the same $$) SO, option 1 is strait to the point and easy to bring around. I also Have a decent back end chaining the 2 STT1's together. Option 2 gives me some different flavors, 1 more comps and EQ but no back end. More of a tracking rig. (For anyone that wants to ask about the VC1Q, I find it very underrated and fun on several different sources) So, give me some advise! Thanks! |
