AES organ concert

Just curious if any of the Remote GS crowd will be participating in the recording of the organ recital at Grace Cathedral on the opening day of the AES convention? For the information of any non-AES members, Graham Blyth will be performing on the 7,466 pipe organ Thursday evening. In addition, Ron Streicher will be leading a tutorial on the recording of pipe organs that will involve a location recording that evening’s performance. It will be a hands-on tutorial with the attendees responsible for all aspects of the actual recording.

We’re not getting into SF until late Thursday afternoon, so I will not be participating in the recording, but we might attend the recital.

We've attended Graham' recitals in Europe, but never in the US - probably because weh have other things todo on that night. But if you don't, his performances have been uniformly lovely.

Wow, that sounds incredible! Sounds like it would sound incredible... I'm already missing one concert I have tickets for at SF Jazz Fest to hit the Gearslutz dinner and the Manley party... so don't seem like I'll be there. Too bad!

Catching 7 shows and recording 2 days in 10 days in SF...
