Talking best >"portable"< studio under 20k ... please help!!!!!!!

I'm liquidating the studio and getting a sweet and simple setup...
Ill be working on an experimental/psychedelic/electro project in 5.1
With songs ranging from ambient to aggressive...
Sound quality, flexibility and simplicity are ideal...

Here are my ideas...

macbook pro+logic 8 $2000
motu 896hd $600
eventide h8000fw $4500
avalon 737sp $1600
neumann tlm103 $750
access virus Ti polar $1700
5 genelec 8050's and 7070sub $8000

suggestions???

if i can get rid of my SSL i'm going "portable" to :

- prism orpheus
- api 3124+
- cranesong spider
- neve 1073 dpd
- cranesong avocet
- headphones sony 7509HD + sennheiser HD-25
- neumann tlm 170R

- H-8000 FW or used TC-6000

- macbook pro + logic or nuendo

- softsynths

- 5.1 setup genelec 8050 + sub = very nice

(forget the cranesong's to stay somewhat within budget)

on second thought

I'm thinking I should use a moog voyager as a midi controller and for that analogue feel...

huge difference between motu and eventide
try macbook pro+logic8,
2 channels of mytek conversion
chandler comp/limiter plugin
great river Me-1NV preamp (single channel)
Audiotechnica AE4100 dynamic mic
distressor compressor
Izotope trash plugin
PSP Nitro plugin
PSP mastering limiter plugin
Moog synth
stereo monitors and great amp for them - if you are going in surround is different in terms of monitoring controller, number of channels of D/A conversion

music

Macbook Pro+Logic 8 with 4gb ram=$4000
Motu 896HD sucks for sound quality. Get Apogee Ensemble for $2000 or Prism Orpheus for $5000.
Mic: Telefunken AK47 Tube for $1600
Preamp: Lachappelle 583s Tube
Compressor: Neve Portico 5043-$1600

macbook pro+logic 8 $2000 - this is going to be more than this... max memory... glyph firewire 800 drive...
motu 896hd $600 - Do better than this... consider Metric Halo options in addition to the existing apogee and prism options.
eventide h8000fw $4500 - ok... but i would look at what core plugins options you might go for... Sonnox bundle + altiverb + whatever.. but you you need to budget for some quality plugins to make you $'s stretch.
avalon 737sp $1600 - whatever... but you can do better than this... usual GS candidates should be considered - neve 8 series if you really need a strip?... but i would optimise pres... cham labs... vintech ... GR... Thermionic... Grace.. SPL options...
neumann tlm103 $750 - i really dislike this mic... a bock 195 would kick its... as would a cham labs TS-2 or MG930...
access virus Ti polar $1700 - these are seriously cool... but you might get more fun and $ milage from a Novation SL and Albino... the version 2 automap stuff provides very cool... add the korg vintage analogue collection because it is fantastic.
5 genelec 8050's and 7070sub $8000 - again this would be more than this I think... perhaps 8020's and a 7050 might be in this range.... but in any event consider 5 Focal Solo's and a Sub6 or adam's or dyns. ohh and don't forget a decently spec'd volume knob... simple SPL... better dangerous...
