Talking Mic choices for acoustic album

Hello..

I'm recording a multi instrumental album just in a small home setup..

I'm wondering what you guys would suggest as a good pair of mics.. or a good mic.. for acoustic guitar.. and upright piano..

I've been looking at the Beyer MC930's and heard good things.. Also wondering if I should just get a C414 or two.. I can stretch the budget higher than these.

I already have a Neumann m269 which is used for vox.. in addition to Neve 31102 pre/api 312 and dav bg..

I've been advised on getting a good sdc to mic close tot he gtr, and using my neumann further away to get a fuller tone..

Any thoughts?

Thank you

Josephson C42 MP on the lower end and possibly DPA / Schoeps if you're feelin' crazy.

no offense to doug, but i am not a fan of the c42s - they are just too bright for me, reminiscient of the km184s. you might consider AT4051s as an affordable solution. i have had great results from AKG C481s, DPA 4011s, and Schoeps CMC64s, if you can afford those. the beyers might be very good for you also, but i have not used them.
