I want to know if it is possible to record with the Korg MR-1000 at 5,6MHZ, but making edits in 44,1 k and after the edits are done, to make an EDL and do a confo on a DSD-compatible editor.

I have wondered the same thing, not necessarily with the Korg unit, but so I can edit one edit in one format (dsd, or pcm), and then produce an edit for the other without having to do another full edit. I much prefer to work with the actual files, than doing a DSD to PCM conversion or vice versa.
