Here's the version for permanent install (shows some guts):

I thought you'd bought a whole rack of 8ox's? Or maybe that was someone else (they posted a picture...)

I have a jensen-equipped 8ox which for one reason or another I haven't used yet - because it arrived six weeks late for the project I needed it for and I haven't needed it since.

But I'm planning on opening it up at some point to see if I can retro-fit some XLRs with proper latches. I'll take some pictures if you like. I'm guessing it's all-PCB-mounted components, including the D-subs, which would make fitting different transformers a challenge... But I could be wrong.

I think there's a picture on the Radial website that shows the innards. The transformers are PCB mounted, so modifications may be a little tricky.

changing the inputs behind the house guys back....could be burning bridges....or is that the smell of the transformer dissipating the heat from the 48V that will no longer pass through to the mics???????

always give the direct feed to the source of the phantom power.

oh he'd know the difference alright...the difference in between what you look like without a black eye and then with one

keep the peace...but make it loud!!!!!!
