Lightbulb

Or, perhaps even 2.5 kids.

IMO, your "time sensitive" button could work on many forums, but the jury is still out if it would work for our forum.

When I started this forum the mindset was to create a working (on going) book about what we do, where we do it and how it's done...

This is why the forum is run a bit different than other forums.
For example, I like to have all photos posted as attachments.
This helps prevent any future lost (broken) links and such.
There are many awesome "back issue" thread discussions with lost files and that's a serious drag. YMMV
Another difference is why I make sure all threads have an emotion image.

I can go on, but this is not the time or the place to do it.

There should be a time sensitive termination button on some posts so people stop giving advice years after the event.

EDIT I just noticed this thread is very old. How did it work?

Probably not ...

When doing recording I subscribe to the K.I.S.S. way of doing things. (KISS=Keep it simple stupid).

Go for quality not quantity and keep your recording kit as small and compact as you can. Moving a lot of equipment around can be somewhat problematic especially if you are the only one doing it. Make sure everything has your name and cell phone number on it and make sure you have an dated inventory list with you at all times so if you have to go through customs you can prove the equipment is yours and if something gets stolen or lost you can notify the local police and your insurance company.

I know this is an old thread so how did it all go? and what did you finally decide on getting??? for equipment?
