I recorded a percussionist playing Udu Pot. I used two Earthworks SR25 mics, but one of them had the kickpad attached and was positioned over the opening at the top of the UDU, to capture the bass. The other was positioned over the other side - both mics about the same distance from the pot. Now I want to create some loops (to REX) from the performance and mix them down to single stereo files. I'm just not sure of the best way to pan the mics, given that one has more bass than the other. |
