Question Daking IV vs DAV BG2 4 ch. Pre-Amp on DPA 4006

Hi Guys,

Still looking around to find a good match to my microphones.

Question,

I am recording classical music and acoustic pop music and I am looking for a decent pre-amp:

Would you go for the Daking IV 2100,- Euros or the DAV BG-2 1500,- Euros?

My mics are :

DPA 4006
Neumann
414
SM57
SM 58

i have a daking console, several outboard daking pres and a couple of the
daking mic-pre iv units - they all sound great - i am constantly amazed at how
great the mic-pre iv sounds - four great pres and four great line amps - in the
last few days i have been listening to cds and dvds running through the line
amps where otherwise there would have been just a passive signal - one
of the producers stopped yesterday and asked why does that sound so good ?

obviously, my vote is with the mic-pre iv - it is an amazing value

be well

The Earthworks or DACS preamps should be considered as well for classical recording.
