drum mics for live -portable/clip-on/directional

Hi,

Can you recommend me some drum mics.

I play drum kit through Ableton Live for effects so need super-dooper directional or even something guitar pick-up style? -what would be best for isolating each drum? I am thinking clip-on because in a live situation the engineer would mic it up as well.

You are merely triggering sounds?

Here are a few that I like.

Mics Ive used:

Audix has nice drum mics D-Series
Shure Beta 56's
Sennheiser E604's & E904's

I am going to buy these soon:

AVANTONE CDMK-7 DRUM MICS KIT

If you are just triggering don't waste your money on mics - just get triggers...

If you want actual mics I like the Heil PR40 for kick, and PR30 (or 35) for snare and toms. I also like the Sennheiser e604 for toms - they are very easy to clip on. The Shure Beta 91 may be the ticket for the kick drum if you want a lot of attack.
